Grudge Week 101

E-mail Print PDF

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Grudge Week is right around the corner and is sure to be a great week for all! The LSA and BSA have been working closely to bring you 3 rounds of competitions across 4 days. Starting on Monday 15th of March (Monday Week 9), everyone is invited to attend a free BBQ at the Sundial to open the intense week of competition!

Round 1 will see the two faculties fight in the battle of the wits. Be sure to join our teams at the amphitheatre for our first round debate.

Round 2 is the 'Inflatables' round. Eat at Wednesday by the Water and have some fun in our Bus V Law Games, starting at 11AM on the Ornamental Lawns. The Championship Match will take place at 1:30.

Round 3 could very well be the decider and will be witness to the traditional Rugby and Touch Matches. Kickoff is at 6PM at the Rugby Fields on Thursday. Club Empire will also be running from 7PM with VIP Seating and Extras. Come down and support your team.

To view the posters for the events, please navigate to the Photo Gallery via the Publications Tab above. Then select '101 Grudge Week'.

It is now reaching that hectic time of the semester, so I wish you well  for your assignments and mid-semester exams. I'd also like to thank you, on behalf of our committee, for your support in our Witness Examination and Closing Remaks Competitions. It was a great couple of days for all involved.

By now you would have a good idea about your subjects and how you fare in them. ALS, Torts, Crim A, Crim B and Contracts are standard and will be covered, with all other classes subject to these nominations. So, please join in the process and it will make for a successful lead up to the exam period. To submit your nominations make your way to our page on Facebook where a discussion has been set up, or email your nominations to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
